The refurbishment of the Student’s Union building at the University of Sheffield included the provision of a new double height entrance space through the removal of a concrete deck through the main concourse.
The complete renewal of all building services was undertaken with a particular emphasis on the integration of new services with the existing services, within the parts of the building which were not undergoing refurbishment, while maintaining operational continuation.
Advice was provided on the renewal of services and general upgrade of the building fabric.
