Since its initial opening in 2000, The Car People Showroom in Wakefield has undergone substantial development to meet growing demand, including a new body shop and an extension to the existing showroom.
The purpose built site houses a preparation centre complete with a paint shop and multiple ovens. The significant increase in space means a total capacity of 1100 cars can be met, for display and preparation.
Brentwood undertook the mechanical services design for Wytek Electrical & Mechanical Ltd. Existing services were modified to suit the newly extended areas such as the café and offices. Air conditioning systems were incorporated along with a heat recovery unit to ensure a continuous flow of fresh air.
This £4.2m expansion at the company’s head office has meant a continuing high standard of car preparation and customer service is met.
