4-6 South Park RoadHarrogate

4-6 South Park Road is a residential development comprising of 11 self-contained apartments. This refurbishment and extension was undertaken with due care as the existing property is identified in the Harrogate Conservation Area as being of local interest and merit. 

Conversion of offices and residential apartments in the existing building created six apartments, whilst a new 3 storey extension provided a further 5 apartment units. This required the formation of 16 vehicle parking spaces, four of which are integral to the extension.  

Both the refurbishment and extension are linked together allowing a seamless development, as the new extension is linked to the rear of the existing building. 

Brentwood undertook the full mechanical and electrical services design for both the new and existing building. Amongst other mechanical systems, designer radiators and underfloor heating were integrated into both the refurbishment and the extension to meet the residents comfort. Low energy dimmable LED lighting was used throughout, allowing residents to alter the ambiance of each space. Brushed chrome accessories with integral USB outlets were also installed within apartments to give a high end finish for users. 

The estimated completion of this scheme is 2018.
